  • Soak pots and pans instead of letting the water run while you scrape them clean.

    Don't water your lawn on windy days when most of the water blows away or evaporates.

    Water your plants deeply but less frequently to encourage deep root growth and drought tolerance.

      Family Calendar. Have a family calendar posted in the kitchen where all appointments are scheduled to keep everyone on schedule, avoid overlapping appointments, and keep you from overextending with too many activities.
